Reuven Misky, Israeli painter, born 1915, Poland.
Reuven Misky was born in Baranowicze, Poland. His father, Ludwik MIsky, was an artist. He studied at the Vilna Academy of Art and immigrated to the Land of Israel in 1939, where he was active in the Lehi, the pre-state underground. In 1948, he joined the Israel Defense Forces and rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Misky paints in oils, watercolor, gouache, acrylic and mixed media.
