About the artist:
Schwerin was a israeli painter his early art from when he was in Munich was influenced by the contemporary German expressionism. Schwerin main subject was imagery from the bible and jewish tradition.
After Schwerin immigrated to Israel he started painting the local view in a naturalistic approach.
In the 1950’s he was back painting in oil with surreal Features .
