admin July 4, 2015 5:35 pm No Comments A sculpture by Turner prize winner Douglas Gordon made of solid gold was stolen from Christie’s auction house. The art work valued around 800,000$. The gold which was used for the art work is valued around 400,000$. Gordon said he was informed on the theft only 16 days after it happened. “It is irritating”.
