Mosia was part of the Russian artistic Avant-Gard that brought with it the spiritual basis for the development of culture and art life in little Tel Aviv of the 20th century.
Mosia Bograshov was born in Russia in 1904 and arrived to Israel in 1910 when she was 6 years ole.
Mosia Bograshov was part of female art group that worked in the large shadow of the male artists at the time, such as Reuven, Guttmann, Menachem, Shemi and the rest of the heroes from the 20-30’s. Therefore, she didn’t receive the respect she deserved and wasn’t famous as a painter who was part of the founding generation of the Israeli art.
Mosia participated in the “Tent” exhibition and the “Tower of David” exhibition in 1927.

In 1929, she participated in the exhibition “Fair of the East”. She traveled to Cairo and stayed there until 1950.
