What leads that person to raise his hand when his eyes sparkle in front of the piece he wishes to purchase? There are many reasons to choose an art piece: beauty, aesthetic, personal taste, ego, understanding the piece knowing the various artistic sequences of the artist over the years, public opinion on the piece and more.

The choice of a person in specific piece doesn’t always match the opinions of those who claim to understand art and have knowledge and expertise in the field, however, personal taste is a matter with reasons that are not often clear and they are part of the art lover’s soul, for better or worse.

Today, there are vicious attacks on paintings, and the piece quality and attributed movement are constantly questioned. The chaos and blur of opinions regarding the piece’s quality are a matter that the smaller factor, namely the piece buyer who wishes to hang quality art in his house, face not once or twice. In some cases, the buyers gives up in the situation and remains clueless in front of the black hole and winding roads the art world offers to him.

Some art pieces don’t find a “good home”, they don’t receive the required attention and therefore they are not approved as authentic pieces. Approval is considered as meaningful proof and when this approval is being spared from the piece – there is a problem. In these cases, some knowing people emerge and they nod their head, either for yes or no, and the rumors of their opinions spread wildfire. If the quality of the piece is determined with lack of accuracy, so to speak, by a person who tear it apart, then the tiny art market bows before this diagnosis and this piece is “burnt”.

How can we improve this kind of market that lazily sails and swings from side to side? How can we know with no doubt that the piece we purchased is authentic?
